Timothy Golubev

• Awkward, and a bit innocent. He takes his time getting to know new people and struggles with communication, mostly because he thinks way too much before he speaks and forgets the small details. Very pretty hesitant, usually overthinking every word until he just stays quiet.

• When in normal moods, he tries to keep a gentle smile and avoid trouble, but feels most comfortable around his friends and Anton, though his behavior is often slightly awkward.

• He usually keeps his feelings to himself, even when bothered, preferring not to worry others. Often masks his emotions with a calm or cheerful demeanor. However, if he's under a lot of pressure or if repeatedly asked if "everything's okay", he may unexpectedly raise his voice or react sharply, usually without meaning to. These moments are rare. Most of the time, he works hard to stay in control and reassure others, even when not feeling okay.

Relationship with Anton

Timothy's first real friend and the first person who ever made him feel truly seen. Anton's jokes and easygoing vibe are the only things that help Timothy relax and open up, even during dark moods, sometimes even forget the noise in his head.

They met in middle school when others were unkind, but Anton's kindness basically changed Timothy's whole life.

Since he never had many friends before, the bond with Anton feels new and special, like something he doesn't want to lose. He admires Anton's warmth and tries his best to look out for him in return, just like Anton did for him.

Even now as adults, they're still as close as ever. He feels a bit protective of Anton, worried that his own dark secrets or the entity might eventually put his best friend in danger, so he often stays up late just to make sure Percep doesn't do anything stupid while Anton is around, showing how much he values his safety over his own rest.

Relationship with Peter

More than just a brother, he's someone who understands Timothy better than anyone else. He trusts Peter with things he can't say to others, such as his confusion, hallucinations, fears, and memories. Peter notices his struggles, like how Timothy's hands shake, his avoidance of eye contact, or when he stumbles over words, and quietly supports him.

While Peter's worry can make Timothy anxious, it’s also comforting because it shows how much Peter cares. He sometimes worries he's asking too much, but with Peter, he feels safe enough to be himself.

Relationship with Percep

Timothy's feelings toward Percep are complicated.

Sometimes he tries to ignore Percep, other times he listens, but he's never sure what to believe. Their connection leaves Timothy anxious and uncertain, even after being trapped together for so long. He can't fully understand what Percep truly is... a protector, a curse, or something in between.

They argue frequently, blaming each other over small things, both of them are stubborn and awkward that their fights usually end in a long silence instead of actually fixing anything. Eventually, things return to normal, even though Timothy usually stays a bit annoyed.

Deep down, he's honestly tired of Percep's constant chatter in his ear.

Even when they're at odds, there's a weird sense of familiarity between them since they've been stuck together for years. Timothy hates the lack of privacy but has almost forgotten what it's like to have a quiet mind. The constant presence is exhausting, yet the thought of Percep suddenly disappearing brings its own kind of uneasy fear.

Relationship with Michael

Timothy and Michael had an empathic link as kids, which is why they hardly ever needed to talk. It was a literal power where they could feel each other's emotions, so a glance or a gesture told them everything they needed to know.  If one was hurting, the other felt the same pain, making it impossible to stay mad during arguments.

When Michael died, that link snapped, a tragedy that left Timothy with amnesia and a hole in his chest he couldn't explain.

Now, seeing Michael again is like looking into a mirror that doesn't fully match reality. Michael seems to know things Timothy can't remember, leaving him uneasy but curious. Timothy struggles to figure out whether Michael is still his brother... or just a reflection of who he used to be, making trust difficult.

Relationship with Thomas

They spend a lot of quiet time together, only speaking when something actually comes to mind, making their moments feel comfortable and easy.

He still remembers the first time Thomas defended him from bullies back in school. Thomas just stood silently in front of him and forced the others to back off. Timothy didn't even look at him at first, mostly because he was confused by Thomas's calm authority after hearing so many rumors about how tough he was. That day, Timothy felt safe and quietly thankful.

Since they were in different grades, Timothy barely remembered him from their school days. Thomas ended up dropping out in his late teens, and Timothy never expected to run into him again in college. As adults, it's made things feel a little different and awkward between them now, especially while dealing with his amnesia.

Lately, Thomas has grown even more awkward, avoiding eye contact and struggling to find the right words. Sometimes he just smiles awkwardly before they fall into a long silence. Timothy isn't really bothered by it because he can see past the shyness. To him, the quiet moments feel meaningful rather than empty. He knows Thomas quietly cares for him.

Relationship with William

Timothy remembers William as just a quiet classmate who slowly turned into a real friend. They used to hang out after class all the time, trading homework help, and the silence between them was always unexpectedly comfortable. Then one day, William just stopped showing up. His desk stayed empty and his messages went unanswered until he completely disappeared. Timothy tried looking for him over and over, but nobody had any idea where he had gone.

After Timothy lost his memories, William mostly faded away, though he still gets these faint flashes of laughter and warmth that feel familiar.

Years later, they finally ran into each other, but William seemed different. He was distant and surrounded by this heavy darkness that Timothy couldn't really explain. Despite how much has changed and how strange William acts now, Timothy still holds onto hope. He feels like the friend he used to know is still in there somewhere. Even with the amnesia and the years of silence, he can't quite let go of the bond they had back in school.
