The Wise Sage is a strict teacher for souls.

He knows everything about light and power. In the past, his job was to collect the souls of dead people and help new spirits find their bodies. Because that work was too hard for him now, he changed his job to teach younger souls instead. He teaches them about the old war between shadow demons and angels.

He uses a special monocle over his eye to see if a student is lying or hiding the truth. This forces them to be honest about their training and themselves. He demands that his students work hard, making sure they understand why they have their powers and how to use them safely.
